Health Verification

All pets entering our facility must have veterinary proof of:

Dogs
DHLPP Vaccination (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza and parvo virus) 1 or 3 year vaccine accepted Rabies Vaccination 1 or 3 year vaccine accepted Bordetella (aka canine and kennel cough) 6 month intranasal or 1 year shot vaccination accepted
Cats
FVRCP Vaccination (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus infection, panleukopenia) 1 year vaccine accepted Rabies Vaccination 1 year vaccine accepted

Group Play Evaluation

playday Paws & Friends want to make sure that all dogs being left for the first time feel comfortable with the type of boarding they are receiving. This is way all new dogs have to pass a four (4) hour evaluation. Each open concept evaluation will start with your dog being able to get familiar with us by exploring one of our play yards or play rooms (depending on the weather). From there your dog will get to meet our staff dogs. Once we feel they are comfortable with our staff, we will introduce them to the rest of the group. During this process we will be watching your dog's behavior and observing their temperament and personality to make sure they are going to fit into the group and be safe and happy. Each private suite evaluation will start with your dog being able to explore one of the private suites. This will be followed by your dog meeting our staff. Once we feel your dog is comfortable with the staff, we will take your dog outside into the private suite yard and give them time to explore and become comfortable with their surroundings.
