Nicole has been an animal lover since she
was little. At the age of 16 she started working at a kennel where she
got introduced to the wonderful world of pet grooming. From here she
wanted to build a facility where the pets would love to come and where
every employee would treat the pets like they were one of their own.
This dream came true with the purchase of Central Bark Pet Salon in
Pearland, TX. A few years after acquiring the salon, her and her partner
purchased 5 acres just behind Silverlake. From there they developed an
open concept boarding, grooming, and doggie daycare facility. Nicole is
a certified groomer who trained at Texas All Breed Grooming School under
instructor Karen Silva. She also has a BBA in Small Business Management
from The University of Houston – Downtown. Nicole plans on expanding her
knowledge in the pet industry through competition and seminars.

Rebekah
Ever since Rebekah learned to toddle around, she was easily found in the
dog house – literally. You could say she had a puppy love from the
start. With a true passion for all types of wildlife and animals, she
quickly learned to respect and care for various species from
white-tailed deer and raccoons to cattle and horses. As a youngster
growing up she often helped her dad with his hound dogs and raised
everything from guinea pigs and rabbits to abandoned baby squirrels.
As an adult, Rebekah became employed by a major grocery
store chain and after only 2 months of employment she was asked to join
the management team where she worked for several years. She eventually
learned that her passion for animals and her desire to help strays was
far greater than the line at the register. In 2003, she decided to take
her side job of grooming horses to a whole new level. She decided to
couple her passion for animals with her customer service skills and
successfully completed professional grooming school. She has been
getting puppy kisses on a daily basis ever since and even once in a
while she finds herself being a chew toy.
